Makassar-Toraja 5 Days

Day  I Arrival in Makassar(short City tour)

Upon arrival at the Airport Makassar,then we drive to down town of Makassar,here we will take you on a short city tour by visiting fort of Rotterdam,the old dutch fortress.then to Sulawesi miniature garden,Sulawesi traditional  houses from here we direct to the Makassar Point Central of Losari Beach for refreshment  while enjoy the beautifull sunset.Dinner we will be served at a local restaurant.then check in at the hotel for overnight stay.

After breakfast,take approx 8 hours drive to Tana Toraja passing trough the Buginese Villages with their typical wooden houses.lunch will be served at a Seafood Restaurant in Pare-pare.In the afternoon having  some  drink or snack on Bambapuang  Café while enjoy the wonderfull view of Mount Buntukabobong.in the afternoon arrive in Rantepao.dinner and overnight  stay at the Hotel.

Day 3 Full day Toraja Tour

After breakfast we will take you on another full day exploring of Tana Toraja. First we will visit Lemo,where we can find hanging graves with it is rows of tau_tau.then to Kambira where we can find the peculiar baby graves in the tree.onwards we will explore the architecture of tongkonan houses in Ke’te Kesu village and Londa,which is a natural grave with entoumbed deceased.lunch will be served at the local Restaurant in Rantepao.in the afternoon we visit Nanggala,local Torajan villages famous for their old tongkonan houses and rice barns,after that then back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 Full day Toraja Tour

In the morning  we will visit Tinimbayo,where we can enjoy the spectacular view of the megalith stones spread over the extensive rice fields,then to a burial cave of Lo’Ko Mata from there we continue our trip to Batutumonga where we will a have short trekking enjoy the beautifull panorama and  experience a moment of the unique Torajan life style. Lunch will be served at a loval restaurant in Batutumonga.in the afternoon we will visit Bori where we can find ancient stone megaliths stone,and back direct to the Hotel in Rantepao.

Day 5 Drive back to Makassar.

With the same road we drive back to Makassar.Stop in Pare-pare for having lunch at the Seafood Restaurant.in the afternoon arrival in Makassar Airport  for your flight to the next destination.
